2007 marks the 300th birthday of Tredyffrin Township and the
Tredyffrin 300 Committee is busy working on many activities
to celebrate the milestone.
The Tredyffrin 300 Committee encourages
all community groups, organizations, clubs, etc. to celebrate
the Township’s birthday throughout the year. They are
working on activities to celebrate the Township's birthday.

Tredyffrin 300 Committee Members
Needed
The Tredyffrin 300th Celebration is fast
approaching and there are still committee members needed who
have great ideas and energy to implement them. We are often
asked, “Where do you need help?” Or. . . “How
can we get involved?”
Below is a list of the various activities
and some of the specific requirements. Do you know someone
who would like to get involved in the Tredyffrin 300 - but
are unsure where he or she can help? Please feel free to forward
the volunteer “needs” list below. If prospective
volunteers contact me, I will be glad to fill them on details
of the various events and supply the specific contact information.

Current Volunteer Needs of Tredyffrin 300 Committee:
- Soire & Auction at St. David’s
Golf Club, 9/14/07: Auction Chairperson(s) in place - but
committee volunteers needed for many different kinds of
jobs;
- Soire & Auction at St. David’s
Golf Club, 9/14/07: Invitation Committee volunteers needed;
- Soire & Auction at St. David’s
Golf Club, 9/14/07: Graphic Design volunteer(s) for invitation
and associated advertising materials;
- Soire & Auction at St. David’s
Golf Club, 9/14/07: Need Chairperson & volunteers to
help coordinate floral arrangements with local garden clubs;
- Birthday Party at Wilson Farm Park,
9/15/07: Birthday Cake Committee Chairperson in place -
but volunteers needed to help coordinate the bakeries and
individual birthday cake participants;
- Birthday Party at Wilson Farm Park,
9/15/07: Chairperson in place - but volunteers needed to
assist the Township Parks & Recreation staff with activities;
- Tredyffrin 300 – United in Song,
9/16/07: Chairperson in place - but volunteers will be needed
day of event;
- Vintage Fashion Show, 9/18 or 9/19/07:
Chairperson in place - but need committee of volunteers
to help w/clothing and models;
- 3rd Annual Historic House Tour, 9/23/07:
Chairperson in place - but need someone to take charge of
house volunteers – approximately 25-30 volunteers
are needed for 1-5 PM
on 9/23/07;
- Publicity/PR Committee: Chairperson
in place - but need additional volunteer help w/photography
and/or article submission on an ongoing basis.
- Historical Documentary: Need graphic
design volunteer(s) to assist in DVD cover design.
- Historical Documentary: Volunteers needed
to help with coordinate the documentary marketing/sales
campaign.
- The next meeting of the Tredyffrin
300 Committee is planned for Wednesday, March 28, 7 PM at
the Township Building. Join Us then or call Pattye Benson
to volunteer.
